    Description

Offered for sale and just recently unpacked from a box that was packed away 25-30 years ago comes this beautiful pair of candlesticks in the "Adam" pattern of Depression Glass.  The "Adam" pattern was manufactured by the Jeannette Glass Company of Jeannette, Pennsylvania from 1932-1934, only two years!  This pattern is a highly-collected pattern and I identified it in the book "Collector's Encyclopedia of Depression Glass" by Gene and Cathy Florence (copyright 2004, 16th edition) on pages 6 & 7.  The candlesticks are pink in color and have NEVER BEEN REPRODUCED - making it safe to buy these!  Each candlestick stands 4 inches tall and has a base of 3 3/4 inches across.  The candlesticks are both Art Deco in the shapes and lines and Art Nouveau in the design of leaves, ferns, flowers, and scrolls.  These candlesticks are in VERY GOOD condition.  I do note a little roughness on one of the indented corners at the top of one candlestick.  You can feel it when you run your finger around the top edge.  The other candlestick has what I believe to be a repair on one corner edge at the top - the other 3 edges are "indented" and one is not.  However, it is a gorgeous repair and most people would never notice.  I want to be 100% completely honest in selling my merchandise.  I have tried to show pictures of the small flaws but they are difficult to photograph as it is difficult to see them!  The first 25 times you look at these, you will not notice anything amiss.  These are ready for use and stunningly beautiful!!  Please see all of the photos, check my feedback, and ask any questions before making a purchase.  You will be delighted with these candleholders!!
