Authentic Antique Japanese Samurai Armor Yoroi 1700s With Box Kabuto Tatami

Up for sale is an awesome piece of history! This is a nice set of tatami or collapsible armor. This was used by more of the Infantry or foot soldiers. Very cool set of entry level armor. All original to the era. Probably dates late 1700s or early 1800s. Helmet and chest mail have iron plates that are lacquered. Very heavy set for what it is, the cap is probably 2 or 3 pounds, and the chest armor is probably 15 pounds or more! The chainmail and plate tatami armor is also in very nice shape. The interior cloth is starting to deteriorate, which is common for 250 year old armor. Very cool and maybe even battle worn! Box is of course included, it is much later.
