Enola Gay B-29 Bomber Dropped Atomic Bomb on Hiroshima Japan and Pilot Paul Tibbets with Reproduced Autograph Stamp MINT Never Hinged!
This is a cinderella stamp commemorating the dropping of the atomic bomb in World War II and the B-29 Superfortress aircraft, The Enola Gay, which was piloted by Colonel Paul W. Tibbets, Jr. and targeted Hiroshima, Japan. A second bomb was later dropped on Nagasaki. This led to the surrender of Japan to the Allies in World War II in August of 1945. The stamp features the aircraft and Colonel Tibbets with a reproduction of his autograph and the date, August 6, 1945. The stamp is
in mint, never hinged without gum condition as issued by a private printer. It is not valid for postage in any country. It would make an interesting addition to any collection of World War II memorabilia, United States or Japanese history stamps. FREE clear plastic protective display holder included! Thanks for looking!
