    Description

Offered for sale is an exceptional stain glass window. It dates to C.1900 and comes from a church in the metro Pittsburgh area [purportedly]. It is of a 'double hung' format with it's original framing. The width of the frame is 34 1/4" wide and the top section is 27 3/8" high and the bottom section measures 28 1/4" high. It is comprised of opalescent, beveled jewels and painted rose pedal segments. Technically, the window is well executed, with no caming losses, but there are 8 tight cracked segments [see close-ups of the largest breaks in the photos]. This noted distress does not in any way distract from the beauty or appearance of the the window. The true beauty of the glass can be seen in a photo of one of the back lit panels! Shipping charges, which are to be assumed by the buyer, will depend on the destination zip code and determined at the conclusion of the sale.  All inquires invited.
