Joan Short original leather handbag with Needlepoint canvas on one side Vintage

This handbag is crafted of Genuine American leather.
Joan Short original in Laguna Niguel, California.
I am sure the company no longer exist.
The bag
back and handles is
crafted with leather. Body is light grayish blue,
handle is brown.
Front of the bag has  needlepoint canvas and you can put your own work and design on.
No yarn or chart is included.Bottom is approx:13 inches wide taper to 10 inches at opening.
handle is about 3 1/3 inches high 7 inches opening..
Overall
height
is about 15 inches.
The needlepoint mesh is 12 per inch.
Bottom leather seems lost some color but evenly in losing the color looks natural.
I think I have this bag since in 70's. It was kept in heavy plastic bag .
