LATE 19TH CENTURY 47" X 87" ( FRAMED) NON-RELIGIOUS STAINED GLASS WINDOW. American, a stained glass mixed media, late 19th century in very good condition consistent with age and wear. A stained and slag glass window featuring repeating slag glass panes in a rectangular format with an elongated oval design on the interior and a central floral decoration, all in various colors of stained glass in beige, ivory, white, maroon, red, brown, green, gold all secured with various shaped leading and housed in a wood frame. The stained glass feature geometric and organic patterns in the late 19th century tradition and in the manner of Tiffany Studios, New York, NY. Pictures show one are of lead that needs repair, one slightly cracked piece and one glass missing a small piece. The window was removed from a home; the original history of the piece is unknown. Photos show window in bright light, dimmed light, front and back views. The sectional pictures are taken from the back side of the glass.
