Excellent post-war reproduction of a very rare WW2 Polish 16th Ulhan Calvary Regiment badge - "Gen. Gustawa Orlicz-Dreszera 16 Ilanow Pulk" based in Bydgoszcz. Quality European manufacture; enameled bronze; the badge is unmarked; back screw is marked A. NAGALSKI i Ska / WARSZAWA BIELANSKA 16. Very fine quality badge with white, red and blue enamels; a couple of small chips on white enamel on the corners are noted for accuracy. The badge is about 45 mm by 45 mm; total weight is about 19 gm. Excellent overall quality with attractive even patina throughout; no nicked corners or dings; round back screw nut is nice and tight.
