    Description

    RARE for sale is a US Army  WW1 US Army Rubberized  Rain Poncho Named To a 1st LT F.P. Miegs/1st Telephone Battalion SCR US Army.  WW1 era ponchos are very rare and this one is in great used condition.  Poncho is marked Philadelphia QM Depot with inspector stamp.  Poncho is clearly marked to 1st Lieutenant F.P Meigs who served in the 1st Telephone Battalion.  Poncho retains all of it's original "star" burst buttons all original.  Poncho is still flexible but little stiff but poncho folds up fine and displays very well on mannequin (price does not include mannequin half).   Poncho has good color with some areas of sun fading ( see pictures) but poncho displays well.  The poncho does not have any rips tears or repair all intact. Pocno folds up into nice displayable sized square.
    WW1 Era ponchos are very difficult to find.
