    Description

    The  he 1st Cavalry Regiment ( previously First Dragoons regiment) since they were the oldest mounted regiment.Took part in
    Frontier duty,Mexican- American war,American Civil War,Snake War,Modoc War,Spanish American War,
    The Philippines and Border Duty. 1 August 1914.  During the ww1 period the regiment moved to
    Southern California
    the 1st Cavalry garrisoned San Ysidro in
    response to growing tensions south of the border in Mexico
    . On 24 August 1915, the regiment moved to Calexico california
    to strengthen the border and defend against raids by the
    bandito
    , Pancho Villa
    They remained guarding the border while General Pershing
    launched the Punitive Expedition
    and were still there when the US entered World War I. The 1st Cavalry did not participate in the First World War, but it remained guarding the border until 19 January 1923, when they went to Fort Russel Texas .
    A used WW1 era U.S. Army 2nd LT Uniform Tunic and Trousers of the 1st Cavalry Regiment .With service cuff stripes. The tunic and pants  are in good condition ( may be couple of small mole holes on the pants).
    These tunic and trousers comes with all of its buttons and insignia.
