Description

Vintage Universal Dome Top Grey Handled Lunchbox + Thermos
The Handled Dome Top Lunchbox is unmarked.  Each end of the Lunch Pail is slotted to put a card with the Owner's Name on the Pail.  Inside the Lunch Pail is a wire bar in the lid for holding the Thermos in place.
The Thermos is Burgundy, Grey, & Cream.  The Bottom is marked:
"LANDERS  FRARY  &  CLARK  UNIVERSAL  FILLER NO. 03  ARTICLE NO. 3026C  NEW BRITAIN, CONN.  MADE IN U.S.A."
The front of the Thermos is marked:
"UNIVERSAL  VACUUM BOTTLE".
The Stopper is marked in part:
"SNAP-TITE  MOELLER MFG. CO.  RACINE, WIS."
USED CONDITION:
There are the lots of scruffs & scratches to the Lunch Pail & Thermos due to heavy use & storage.  The grey paint is missing in places.  There may be some tiny denting.  There is paint missing on the inside where the thermos & cup holder rubbed.  There is paint missing in other spots also.  There is paint missing from the thermos also & a dent on the left side.  The bakelite neck of the thermos is discolored due to age.  There are a couple of hairline cracks around the bottom edge & a dent at the top edge.  The inside of the thermos does not appear to be broken; however, there is a rattle which may be the insulation.  Needs to be cleaned, if desired.  The Stopper is not Original but was replaced years ago.  The Lid is Red & does not screw on straight for some reason.  Needs to be cleaned.
